Sound Adapter
What is the difference between stereo and surround sound on turtle beaches?
So I am going to buy x31 turtle beachs but it said are not surround sound they are only stereo. What is the difference? With stereo can you still tell what direction they're coming from?
P.S they also have surround sound adapter things should o get them are they a waste of money?
The Turtle beach surround head sets use time delay and manipulation of the frequency pattern and offset drivers to create a surround effect the Dolby units use multiple drivers within the head set and a dolby processor for the head set to create the surround effects...in addition to the algorithms....The little boxes are what do the processing so are needed...stereo only has two drivers and no processing...other than stereo...
